Question 3 - What kind of institution would distribute your film and why?
An institution that would distribute a movie that features someone making a film, similar to a found-footage movie like The Blair Witch Project or Project Almanac.
Maybe MTV pictures or Red Hour Films because of some of the movies they've had, unfortunately even though they have distributed some of these kinds of movies there re few and far between so they might not eat to distribute our movie over the films they get regularly.
Fox searchlight is an ideal distribution company for our movie since its related to 20th Century Fox but is a smaller branch that will take in smaller movies.
Columbia pictures is what I'd prefer to have as a distributor. From what I've seen they have made some good comedy movies and some action flicks too, but the problem is that Columbia Pictures and the most other ideal studios are too big in he industry to want to take in our independent film, they would probably shrug us off. Same with 20th Century Fox and the rest of the 'Production Giants'.

Question 2 - How does it represent social groups?
The social groups present are young black males, gamers, .
In our film we represent young black males as productive which is demonstrated by how we've shot the sequence as if he is shooting a hero movie, the dialogue he speaks in the first 5 seconds supports this; "Okay... superhero monologue, let's go!". The audience can also see him as enthusiastic because he sounds quite motivated to record this 'superhero monologue'.
Young black people in all forms of media that I've seen are either ghetto stereotypes or a companion to the main character with a charismatic personality.
For example James from Ride Along with his bad boy attitude and Rhodey from Iron Man 2 being Tony Starks best friend and sidekick.

But we've made our character look like a sort of nerdy film geek or YouTuber who is taking the lead in this production.
The main character s also a gamer as you can se from this point in the film.

This film represents gamers as nerdy and creative, because the main character has created this low budget costume out of regular clothes and is trying to utilise generic tropes from his favourite superhero films. They could also be construed as resourceful, again because of his home-made costume.
